Guanacaste

Guanacaste is a province in the northen part of Costa Rica, along the Pacific Ocean. It is located just on the south side of Nicaragua, and west of the Alejuela Province. The best time of year to visit is between November and April, when it is dry and warm - perfect weather for hanging out at the beach.
The shorelines here are particularly famous for their surf. Droves of surfers and surfer wannabes head to this region every year looking to catch some killer waves.
