Limon Province in Costa Rica runs the entire length of the country along the Caribbean Sea. It borders Nicaragua on the north and Panama on the south, and hosts many great beaches. Hot and humid all year long, the best bet for beach bums is between February and May, and then again after August through the end of the year.
Surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving are all available in many options and flavors, and if you get tired of the scenery the Pacific coast of Costa Rica is only a few hours away.
