Nicoya Peninsula

The Nicoya Peninsula is a large peninsula on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, near the northen end of the country. Known for it's prime weather, gorgeous beaches, and world class surfing, it's a popular spot for all kinds of visitors. Remote villages, private beaches, miles of untouched jungle, outstanding resorts and hotels, and plenty of sun and fun can be found here.

Playa Santa Teresa

Santa Teresa is a small beach village on the Nicoya Peninsula in the Puntarenas Province of Costa Rica. As with many beaches on Costa Rica's Pacific coast, the secluded beach located here is an excellent spot for surfing, especialy for those that would prefer smaller crowds.

Covered in light gray sand, Playa Santa Teresa serves up a steady surf throughout the year. There is something for every level of experience, and as long as care is taken, even novice surfers should find some good waves here.
