Salomon Bay

Salomon Bay is a beautiful beach on the north side of the island. It is one of the more deserted beaches on the island, owing to the difficulty of getting to it. It can be reached by boat, or by a one mile hike from the National Park Visitors Center.
Salomon Bay has some great snorkeling spots, especially along the ridge between Salomon Bay and Honeymoon Cay. There can be a fair amount of boat traffic, so staying inside the swim bouys is a good idea.
Because of the quieter nature of this beach, it can be a great place to relax for the day. Keep in mind though that there are no facilities or amenities available here; bring along whatever you need.
